Ya-Ka-Ama (our land in the Kashaya Pomo language.) was created to educate the youth of yesterday and continues to educate today.Over the last 32 years YKA has hosted courses anywhere from heavy equipment to electronic assembly. But due to the dwindling federal resources available in this modern era ,YKA, is increasingly dependant on donations from the surrounding communty.YKA has recieved several gifts in the past from donors in not only the private sector of Sonoma County but also has been the recipient of gifts from local businesses as well. This blog is being created on the hopes that a bigger wider community might become aware of YKA's existance...........................................
